The best personal trainer software, compared honestly
The right software depends on your roster and how you coach. Synrgetic is the lowest-cost option here for most rosters from 6 to 50 clients. Other platforms are the better choice if you need a branded app, more than 50 clients, or a large free tier.

How to choose
- Add up the add-ons. A low starting price can double once you add nutrition, payments or automation. Trainerize and Everfit both sell these separately.
- Check the payment fees. Ask what you pay on each client payment, on top of the card processor’s fee.
- Price your roster in a year’s time. Per-client pricing can overtake a flat plan as you grow.
- Decide if you need your own branded app. Synrgetic doesn’t offer one. If it matters to you, look at Trainerize, PT Distinction or My PT Hub.
- Check what you can take with you. Some platforms export more than others, so ask before you commit.
